Unconscious Is Good

It’s physiologically vital we spend one-third of our lives unconscious. Sleep deprivation is a big contributor to adrenal fatigue and other biological insufficiencies and can set-off a domino effect that will reduce your level of health. Sleeping is crucial for a strong Immune system, proper hormonal balance, emotional health, learning and memory, and clearing toxins from the brain. Sleep is the premier performance enhancer.

Create a sleep sanctuary – turn off computers, cell phones, TV and cordless phones, all of which can emit electro-smog. Buy some black-out blinds or curtains, wear ear plugs if noise is likely to disturb, and try to get 8-9 hours of sleep per day. If you lose an hour or two during the night…take a nap during the day or hit-the-sack earlier to catch up the next night.

Best to avoid chocolate and caffeine after 4-6pm and if you sleep with animals who tend to be wakeful in the wee hours (common with cats who are naturally nocturnal) then make them their own sleep sanctuary…in another room!

If you have insomnia or other sleep disturbances, work with Restorative Therapeutics or other practitioners knowledgeable in functional medicine, homeopathy and Neurofeedback. Neurofeedback, or brain wave training, will help optimize neurochemistry and electrical activity in the brain allowing better sleep. A calm, “fit” brain means deeper more consistent sleep without the use of pharmaceuticals.

Using State-of-the-art Neurofeedback equipment you can retrain the brain to 'fire and wire' for better sleep.

Try and deeply relaxing, restorative and affordable neurofeedback session. 360.752.2111 email:
