OCD: Neurofeedback the Best Option

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

When a child or adult cannot stop repeating specific behaviors or quiet the brain from repetetive thinking, a condition called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is usually the cause. Neurofeedback training improves OCD by triggering the brain to create more efficient, and healthier, brain wave patterns in areas of the brain causing dysfunction.

With sufficient training the brain actually begins to create more functional patterns on its own. This is known as Neuroplasticity, when the brain corrects itself. Clients with OCD experience marked reduction in symptoms after brain training. They no longer have to struggle to stop unwanted repetitive thoughts and behaviors and their minds are quieter, calmer.
